Happy Tuesday!!

We want APASO 2008 Los Angeles to be super productive!!
To that end, please take a moment to fill out the following 12 question survey.
We’ve gathered that folks want more time for group sharing and less “panels.”
Attendees always come with a tremendous amount of information and we’re looking to access as much as we can and leverage it to fit your needs.
We’re looking at restructuring the Day One Round Robin session, the Job Title breakouts, the concurrent breakout sessions, the Saturday session on planning for the next conference and how we might better collaborate throughout the year.
In addition, we’re working toward a new version of the APASO directory.
Help us figure what we ALL need.
Spend a few minutes filling out this survey and make sure that your fellow staff members who plan on attending fill it out as well.

The results are public so you'll see how the other attendees have responded.

More soon.

Pre-conference - Feb 27th

Making the case for arts and culture service organizations

We've asked leading funding partners to share with us how they make the case for not only arts and culture, but also, specifically, arts service organizations.

With so much public attention going to global, green and social service needs, how are our partners from foundations, government and corporations making the case to support us?

We'll hear about their obstacles, roadblocks, successes and strategies in creating funding opportunities and partnerships with local performing arts service orgs.

We've promised a "pitch-free" zone to afford us the opportunity for a frank conversation in understanding, from a funder's perspective, what added value we bring to their work, what's required to ensure the continuation of their support, and what it is that we could or should be doing that we aren't.
Join us, won't you?!
